“My stay at Travelodge Saskatoon”

  , Edmonton
I was in Saskatoon for a week for our annual meetings. We were having our meetings and staying in the Circle drive Travelodge. The front end staff was courteous and easy to deal with, my check in was much faster than my check out. My major complaint about the in/out service was more time management than courtesy, when I was checking out, there were four people manning the various guest services computers, and only one person checking out. Not certain of what the others were doing, but they seemes preoccupied with something. I wasn't in a rush to check out so it wasn't a big deal. The actual room itself was fine. A few housekeeping problems that would effect my willingness to stay again. It seemed the shower was neglected for a while, there was a noticeably dark ring around the tub, what appeared to be mucus under the handrail in the tub. The toilet had a significant amount of hair on it, I ended up wiping it down before I used it the first time. The sheets on my bed didn't appear to be changed from the last visitor in the room, as there was a fair amount of lint and hair in it when I pulled back the covers. I should also note that I was pleased with how comfortable the beds were. We had stayed there for last years meetings and the mattress felt like a rock, this year it was almost like sleeping at home. I was incredibly pleased with the food services we recieved for our meetings and the food they cooked in the restraunt, the name of which I can't recall. In closing, I don't want to seem like I'm being overly critical, my stay was pleasant aside from a few hiccups. The staff was very courteous and the food was excellent. The room itself left a little to be desired, but wasn't unacceptable. This hotel has went up in my books considerably and is making a very strong case for me to stay there instead of the Saskatoon Inn, the hotel I usually book with when I'm on vacation and down visiting during the summer months. Keep up the good work!
