“3 Nights at the Saskatoon Travelodge, not as enjoyable”

  , Val Marie
I chose to stay at the Saskatoon Travelodge because I've stayed at the Medicine Hat Travelodge in the past and had an excellent experience. At Saskatoon it wasn't the pleasant. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were average (pretty clean, just need some dusting (cobwebs), and the power button on the TV didn't work well, but the beds were comfy). One of the main reason I chose the Travelodge was to take in the waterslides and hot tub. I went down the waterslides a few times and tiles were missing on the steps (i'm sure they are sharp, never checked tho), so then I went to the hot tub and while I was sitting in there I noticed there was a green scum on the bubbles, GROSS! So I quickly got out of there and took a shower! I also noticed that they have old ice machines that hardly produce any ice...I walked around the hotel and happened to find one that was newer and worked better. Although I should have checked out after the first night, I stayed a total of 3 nights because I was on a business trip and didn't feel like packing up and going elsewhere, I rate this hotel as average.
