“Nice place to stay in Gettysburg”

  , Somerville
We had been to Gettysburg the last four years for the Vintage Baseball tournament sponsored by Gettysburg Eddies. This was our first time staying at the Travelodge, and we would choose to stay here again! We stayed for two nights on the second floor, and had a very nice, CLEAN porch to sit out on. The room was average - two double beds, small table and two chairs - but clean. It also had a refrigerator and microwave which came in very handy. Breakfast was in a small nook, but very well-attended by staff. There was bagels, English muffins, biscuits, waffles (Eggo, not Belgian), regular muffins, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and yogurt. Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful! My one complaint would be the hallway to get from the second floor down to the outside door...it smelled horrible, but I'm thinking it was because of a new rug that was put down? I did mention it at the desk when I was checking out and the girl said she would look into it. Overall a good experience, and VERY convenient to everything!
