“It is what it is”

  , Pleasant Ridge
Service: Only Fair: Receptionist could not tell me where to find "The Best Pizza in Town", except at their in-house restaurant (who's pizzia tasted like good FROZEN pizza). She could not change our room, from the first floor, because the inn was full (even though we saw no one, and there were only about 20 cars in the lot. There were, however, plenty of rooms for the bus of tourists that showed up two hours later. Part of the reason we wanted to move was that two bright spotlights shone in the room, and the "blackout" drapes don't quite close. The free breakfast was fine in theory, but when the above mentioned tourist bus participants assailed the breakfast room en masse, there was no where to sit, and most of the food was either gone, or highly picked over. Additionally, the "tourists" pocketed the fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, etc. for a handy "free" snack for later. Unfortunately, those of us on vacation, after a long drive, who had planned the day's activities so we could sleep in (7:00!), were out of luck. And, oh yeah, the hair dryer pulled out of the wall!
