“Great value, annoying parking lot experience.”

Booked the hotel because of value and location. Typically we stay at higher rated hotels but thought it would be fun for my kids to stay right on Clifton Hill. Had realistic expectations of room and amenities, no surprises there. Had an annoying experience in the parking lot though. The guy who works in the lot basically stood and watched me park and then criticized my parking, asking me rudely why I parked over the line without even realizing if I parked on the line I would have been impossibly close to the next car - the other people wouldn't have been able to open the door! I was so put off by how he spoke to me. I decided to park somewhere else in the lot and again he came over to inspect my parking. I was so annoyed at that point I asked him what his problem was and then I think he realized I wasn't going to tolerate his crappy attitude and mumbled a half assed apology. I guess you get what you pay for, clearly good service isn't in the Traveldge budget.
