“OK for the price”

  , Rochester
It was OK for the price. The room was clean. The handles to turn on the water in the bathroom sink were reversed. The hot was on the right and cold on the left. The cold (left handle) had to be positioned just right to get the water turned off. You could not just push it back to the stop position as the water would still come out slowly in the usual stop position. The dead bolt in the door would activate by itself when you went to close the door so you would have to do some playing around with it to make things work. The entry from the outside into the area where you entered the hallway to get to your room had a musty odor. The women at the desk when I checked in were good, but the young man that was the overnight desk person seemed that he could care less. You almost had to force him to help you, he did not offer when you stepped up to the desk. I was solo and just in the area to see a couple of baseball games, so I just needed a place to sleep. I would not have stayed there if I was accompanied by my wife. The breakfast left much to be desired, so I found other places for my morning meal.
