At this time , we are currently 90% finish w/ our extensive renovations. I deeply apologize if our daytime renovations may have affected your stay. Due to the recent unexpected weather conditions that delayed the process, there are some minor things we are completing. We are not only revamping our property physically, but also internally with staff that will provide the customer care and hospitality that we feel our guest deserve . I'm so happy to read that you enjoyed our complimentary parking for the cruises. I would like to apologize though for the odor when you entered your room. Our housekeeping do their very best to make sure each room is renewed once a guest checks out, so that the next guest would arrive to a clean, comforting, fresh smelling room. I will speak with my housekeeping manager to see about getting a stronger deodorizer for the rooms. Here at Travelodge New Orleans West, we are excited to hear when our guest have enjoyed their stay, and also we are delighted to know which areas our guest suggest improvements. We updated our hotel transportation, providing a free shuttle to the ferry that accesses the city, which is apart of our extensive renovations . The shuttle is meant to make it more convenient for our guest to travel back and forth to the city, while also saving money on transportation. Thank you for complimenting our staff and I will be sure to let them know our efforts of improvement are seen .
