“You get what you pay for”

  , Wentzville
Went to check out the museums of Chicago on spring break with the kids. We had a budget so I made sure I researched a "value" hotel close by the museums. Epic fail on my part. Location was great, staff was very friendly and helpful in informing me that there was no free parking anywhere in Chicago, including the hotel. The closest and safest lot was across the street at $35.00 a day or $6.00 an hour. I wish someone would had put this in a review. My hundred dollar room came with an additional hidden parking cost. The rooms were clean, but very small and the HVAC was out dated. Beds were nice, TV was a 40" flat screen. It's very loud. There's an elevated train right across the street the goes by every 15 minutes. There's a Subway, Dunkin Dounuts and a Thia food place within a safe walking distance. If you were to fly into Chicago, use public transportation, and wanted a cheap clean place to rest and shower, then this is the place. The old saying "you get what you pay for" is true for this place. I will not stay here again. I would not reccomend this to friends or family. FYI the museums and aquarium are FANTASTIC, however be preparred to pay $22-30 dollars for parking everywhere.
