“Overnight Stop”

This was my overnight stop on my way to Clearwater Florida to see my newborn granddaughter. Since I was a female traveling by myself I was very conscience of selecting a motel that I would feel safe staying in. This one definitely fit the bill. There were a couple of issues though. Because it was undergoing some renovations the breakfast wasn't available in the motel. I was given a voucher for breakfast at a neighboring motel instead. It wasn't that close so the next morning I chose to get on the road and get breakfast later rather than try and find the 'sister motel'. Also when I checked in the air conditioning wasn't working in my room. I guess I would have thought that something like this would have been checked out before giving out a room. I called the front desk and someone was sent to my room who concured that the air was in fact broken and he helped me move my luggage to another room. Even with these 2 problems I would probably stay here again because of the location and the problems should be fixed by then.
