“Room for improvement”

  , Chambersburg
The first room had a terrible smell and we were able to get another room. The door was freshly painted and stuck, it took a lot of muscle to open. The swimming pool has a very small shallow section and we finally left after another swimmer pushed my son into the deeper section over his head more than once. However, we should have left as another patron brought her son in the pool in an ordinary diaper that was already full. And the life guard did nothing about the full baby diaper nor the child pushing my child into deeper water. Also the cover to the pool filter was open causing a hazard. The stairs were very dirty and had lots of cigarette butts on them. The bushes were full of trash including condoms. In the morning, there where men needlessly touching up the paint, but no one sweeping the stairs or picking up trash. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the advertised free continental breakfast "Bear Bites" did not exist. Great start to a morning of exploring Washington DC.
