Thank you for a five star review. Yes, the ocean's closeness attracts many to Monterey and to ourlocation. Our staff endeavors to make your stay comfortable and to provide you with whatever information you require. We hope to see you again in the near future. Sometimes there areminor differences in the Online 3rd part rates but they receive the same rates we have in ourSystem. « hide

I apologize that your stay was not great in every way. You did stay with us two nights and we thank you for your business. We are pointing out the sock problem to staff . We normally do not have coffee pot problems and we are looking into that as well. I wonder if you brought this up to the front desk where we have 24 hr/day free coffee, decaf and tea?On the Simmons Pillowtop bed, I do not know your exact experience, but I will mention that every once in while some folks just do not prefer these beds. We started adding them back in 2004 because they were a luxurious alternative that worked compared to the beds that were commonly place in hotels. They do cost about twice as much and we do get great reviews on them regularly.Other than these things, thank you for a very good review and we look forward to your return.Thank you for your review. We appreciate your all thumbs up review. Thank you! We are glad you experienced our good service, nice staff and very clean rooms. Our location is one of the main reasons guests stay here. They love the closeness to great restaurants, entertainment, the Wharf and the beach. The Pillowtop beds are considered very comfortable by most of our guests.
