“For all of you who suffer from asthma or fragrance...”

For all of you who suffer from asthma or fragrance allergies!!! Please be aware that this hotel now uses in-room air fresheners placed in the corner of the room behind the TV's. They also use deordorizers for the carpet when cleaning the room. The smell permeates the furnishings in the room and if a person has asthma, fragrant allergies, or plain doesn't like that "flavor" of fragrance it won't be a pleasant stay. I've stayed at this hotel for years and when I call to make a reservation, I requested that they not clean the room with deodorizers. All stays have been good until they began putting the solid air freshners in the room. I spoke with the head housekeeping person and she commented that the hotel chain now has a policy that requires air fresheners be placed in the rooms. She also said that many guests find the selected fragrance unattractive. If you don't like the fragrance, let the front desk & and hotel chain know. Artificial fragrances do affect more people than the corporations realize...let them know.
